About Ana

Ana Burton, Founder & Certified Coach

I created The Growth Conversation from a simple belief: people have more potential than they sometimes recognize in themselves. I’ve always been curious about people — how they think, what motivates them, what matters to them, and what they might be capable of. Meaningful conversations fuel me, especially when they inspire someone to see themselves, or a possibility for themselves, in a new way.

The Growth Conversation brings together that curiosity, my professional experiences, and my own intrinsic desire to keep learning, growing, and developing. My career has been rooted in higher education nonprofit organizations, where I’ve had the opportunity to support people, lead teams, create meaningful experiences, and contribute to work that helps others learn and grow. Along the way, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for servant leadership and for creating environments where people feel seen, valued, and supported.

At the heart of my approach is a genuine interest in getting to know people as individuals. I’m a reflective listener who enjoys thoughtful questions, new perspectives, and those moments when someone begins to see something differently. I tend to notice potential in people, think deeply about what they share, and consider what might be possible for them. I don’t believe I need to have the answers for someone else; I believe people often have more of the answers within themselves than they realize. Sometimes it takes the right conversation to uncover them.

And while coaching is an important part of who I am, it’s not all of who I am. I’m an auntie, a traveler, a curious learner, and someone who finds a lot of joy in the little things — quiet mornings with a hot cup of coffee, fresh-cut flowers, a beautiful view, or a conversation that stays with me long after it ends. I love meeting people, hearing their stories, and being reminded that there are so many different ways to experience the world.

That curiosity is part of what excites me most about The Growth Conversation. The world is full of interesting people, different perspectives, and possibilities for growth. I want to create more opportunities for meaningful conversations — the kind that leave you knowing yourself a little better and feeling a little more ready for what comes next.

I’m excited to create a space where people from different backgrounds, generations, and stages of life can come together for meaningful conversations about who they are and where they want to go. Because there is a big world full of interesting people and possibilities — and I’d love to have a conversation with you.
