Specialized Coaching
Coaching designed around you.
Sometimes growth doesn't fit neatly into a package. Specialized coaching creates a customized experience around a particular need, goal, or season of life. We can incorporate CliftonStrengths, DISC, or other tools when they add value—or simply focus on the conversation you need to have.
Best for: A unique goal, leadership challenge, career transition, or customized coaching experience.
What is coaching?
Coaching is a conversation that creates space to think, reflect, and explore what matters to you.
You may come with a question, a challenge, a decision, or something you want to better understand. Together, we’ll explore where you are, what you’re noticing, and what moving forward could look like.
What can I bring to a coaching conversation?
You can bring something specific or something you’re still trying to put into words.
That might be a career decision, a leadership challenge, a personal goal, a transition, or a situation you keep thinking about.
You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly formed question. We can begin with what’s on your mind.
Do I need to complete an assessment before coaching?
No. Coaching packages do not require an assessment. We can focus entirely on the question, challenge, or area of growth you want to explore.
CliftonStrengths, DISC, or other tools can be considered when they add value, but an assessment isn’t necessary to begin.
Do I need a clear goal before we meet?
Not necessarily. Sometimes you know exactly what you want to work toward. Other times, you know something needs attention but aren’t sure what that means yet.
Creating clarity can be part of the conversation.
Will you tell me what I should do?
My role is to help you think through what matters to you and explore your options.
We’ll consider your experiences, priorities, and perspective so you can make choices that feel thoughtful and intentional.
You remain the person deciding what comes next.
How is coaching different from talking with a friend?
A conversation with a friend can be valuable.
Coaching offers dedicated space to focus on what you’re working through, with questions that help you examine your thinking, consider different perspectives, and identify next steps.
You don’t need to take care of the conversation or make room for someone else’s concerns. This time is focused on you.
Do I need to be a leader to benefit from coaching?
Not at all. Coaching can support personal or professional growth at many stages of life.
You might be navigating a transition, considering a decision, working toward a goal, or simply wanting space to better understand what you need.
Can coaching help with a career transition?
That’s something we can explore together.
You may be considering a new role, questioning your current direction, or trying to understand what you want from your work.
Our conversations can help you examine what matters, consider possibilities, and identify steps you want to take.
Can coaching help with leadership challenges?
Yes. We can explore situations involving communication, decision-making, working relationships, or how you want to show up as a leader.
The conversation will focus on your actual experiences and the areas where you want greater awareness or a different approach.
What if I feel stuck?
You don’t need to get unstuck before you come.
We can begin by exploring what feels difficult, what you’ve already tried, and what you may be assuming about the situation.
Sometimes moving forward begins with seeing the challenge a little differently.
What if I’m not sure which package I need?
Start with what you want support around.
A single session may fit a specific question or decision. Three sessions offer room to explore a goal or transition over several conversations. Five sessions provide more space for deeper reflection and continued support.
If your needs don’t fit neatly into those options, specialized coaching may be worth exploring.
What does accountability look like in coaching?
We can revisit the steps you choose, explore what happened, and consider what you’re learning.
If something didn’t go as expected, that becomes part of the conversation. We can look at what got in the way and whether your next step needs to change.
The focus is on supporting intentional action and learning from your experience.
What if my goal changes during coaching?
That can be part of the process.
As you reflect and try different approaches, you may discover that your original goal needs adjusting—or that something else matters more.
We’ll make room to explore those changes and consider where you want to focus next.
Is coaching therapy or counseling?
No. Coaching through The Growth Conversation focuses on reflection, goals, decisions, and personal or professional development. It is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment.
